Full disclosure

Resurgent Self ("we," "us," or "our") is an independent editorial website focused on health optimization for adults 35 and older. To support the operation of this site, we participate in affiliate marketing programs. This means that when you click certain links on resurgentself.com and complete a qualifying action — such as signing up for a program or making a purchase — we may receive a commission from the company you transact with.

This commission comes at no additional cost to you. In most cases, affiliate pricing is identical to what you would pay visiting the company's website directly. In some cases, our affiliate relationship may allow us to offer our readers an exclusive discount.

What "affiliate commission" means in practice

For GLP-1 telehealth programs, affiliate commissions are typically a flat fee paid by the program provider when a new patient completes a sign-up. For example, if you click our link to a GLP-1 program and enroll, we may receive a fixed payment from that provider. You pay the same price you would if you visited their site directly.

Our editorial independence

Affiliate compensation does not influence our editorial assessments, rankings, or recommendations. We do not accept payment in exchange for positive coverage, guaranteed placement, or favorable reviews. Programs are evaluated based on the criteria that matter to our readers — cost transparency, medical oversight, provider access, program quality, and customer experience.

If a program we have previously recommended changes in a way that no longer meets our standards, we will update our content accordingly — regardless of any existing affiliate relationship.

What we do not do

We do not accept payment to rank a program above others. We do not fabricate reviews or testimonials. We do not promote programs we have not researched. We do not use before-and-after framing or make guaranteed outcome claims. If we cannot assess a program honestly, we do not feature it.

Where affiliate links appear on this site

Affiliate links may appear in any of the following content types on Resurgent Self:

Program comparison pages
Pages comparing GLP-1 programs, peptide therapy providers, or other health services side by side. These pages contain affiliate links to each program reviewed. The comparison criteria are applied consistently regardless of commission rate.
Editorial articles and guides
Long-form content explaining health topics may include contextual affiliate links where a program or product is directly relevant to the topic being discussed. These links are always disclosed at the top of the article.
Resource and recommendation pages
Curated pages listing recommended programs or tools in a given category. All recommendations on these pages are based on independent research. Affiliate relationships are disclosed on the page.
Email newsletters
If you subscribe to our email list, newsletters may occasionally contain affiliate links to programs or resources we recommend. All affiliate links in emails are clearly labeled.

FTC compliance

Compliant with FTC 16 CFR Part 255

This disclosure is made in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials in advertising, specifically 16 CFR Part 255 — Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising — and the FTC's updated Endorsement Guides effective 2023.

Per FTC guidelines, we are required to clearly and conspicuously disclose any material connection between Resurgent Self and any brand, program, or product we endorse or link to. A "material connection" includes any financial relationship, including affiliate commissions, whether or not money has yet been received.

How we disclose on individual pages

On every page containing affiliate links, you will find a disclosure notice at the top of the page — above the main content — in plain language. This notice is not buried in a footer, hidden behind a toggle, or placed below the affiliate links themselves. It appears before you encounter any affiliate link on that page.

Questions about this disclosure

If you have any questions about our affiliate relationships, how we select programs to feature, or whether a specific link is an affiliate link, please contact us at contact@resurgentself.com. We respond to all disclosure-related inquiries.

This disclosure page is reviewed and updated whenever our affiliate relationships change in a material way. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent review.
